Infact, it is working better than the midisport did (although this could very well be due to using the new version of windows). Once I increased the delay time to 120ms I was able to update firmware on the axe, and it works perfectly with the editor. What I did do is try a cheap ($10 or less) cable I purchased off ebay.

M-audio has really dropped the ball here - how hard can it be to write some drivers? On the graph linked to above, they have not even started work on the drivers yet. This effectivly makes this device a brick for me now. They have a website where they are tracking their progress on different drivers from Windows 7 64bit: įrom what I can tell, and given past performance, we will be waiting many, many years before Windows 7 64bit drivers are released for our Midisports.

The worrying thing is that M-audio began work on the Vista 64bit drivers almost 3 years ago (!!).

I spent hours searching around forums e.t.c and learned that M-audio has decided to discontinue work on Vista 64bit drivers and roll this work into releasing Windows 7 64bit drivers. I own the Midisport 2x2 and use Windows 7 64bit and have been completley unable to get it to work.
